I am writing to report a very serious incident that occurred today at this Starbucks drive-thru. I am extremely upset because I believe a barista deliberately added a $5 tip to my transaction without my knowledge or authorization. I went through the drive-thru and ordered two items. Normally, the total is displayed on the screen and is also communicated by the employee taking the order. This time, however, the employee told me that I would be given the total at the window. I therefore approached the window without knowing what my total was. When I arrived at the window, I was presented with the payment screen. Normally, this is the screen where the customer is given the opportunity to select a tip. Instead, the screen I was shown simply asked me to confirm the total. Without thinking, I confirmed it. Almost immediately afterward, I realized that the amount seemed much too high for the two items I had ordered. I asked for an itemized receipt, and that is when I discovered what had happened: my purchase totaled $11.20, but a $5 tip had been added, bringing the transaction to approximately $16.20. Yesterday I was in the location to get my drink with my personal cup from Starbucks Anyway it’s drive through location but there is order and pickup windows so you can order. Anyway I waited for a while to get service. finally a woman decided to help me after long wait time, but with attitude and I am not oke with that Also my drink was awful and she put the sticker on my cup like we will never move it after, It’s still sticky unfortunately. Also I was the only one who was waiting for their order for a long time. Who came and ordered after me they got their drinks before me and I believe that she kept me waiting on purpose.

Not every Starbucks is the same and this one is one of the best! It’s very busy but they do a great job being fast and friendly. Lisette and Xitaly (I know I misspelled my bad hand up that’s on me) are always so nice. Whole staff does a great job. They run a great operation over there. Some customers need to chill with time expectations. If the drive thru is popping and a bunch of people in the lobby it’s going to be a minute. And if you’re in a hurry just order in advance like I usually do.

I want to say that this Starbucks have the nicest people. My son and I went yesterday, and as soon as we got in the door, everyone was yelling “Welcome” and actually looking at us with a smile on their face. The guy as the cashier was looking at us as we ordered our drinks, and very calm and respectful with a very friendly tone. We go to other Starbucks around where we live, and we are not greeted like that. Awesome job Starbucks Staff ( at this location). You just never know who will walk through those doors and make their day just by a simple “Welcome” and really mean it. Oh, and I want to add… it was busy.

I recently tried the Pink Drink for the first time from Starbucks, and while the flavor was absolutely delicious, I left feeling disappointed. The cup was filled with so much ice that I barely got to enjoy the drink itself. After just two sips, it was practically gone. I even had to pull over to really look at how much ice was in the cup—it was excessive. For the price, I expected more actual beverage and less ice. The taste was great, but the portion didn’t feel worth the cost because of how heavily it was diluted. This purchase was made at Starbucks - 1740 Centinela Avenue. I’m hoping for better balance next time because the drink itself definitely has potential—it just needs to come with more drink and less ice.
